How to succeed?

Visualize the goal. Picture a successful result. You’ve just put that idea out in the universe. Wait for that echo to come back and when it does be thankful.

Reclining pose of Jenifer

This morning I sketched this reclining pose at the Baxter Art’s Centre in Prince Edward County. Jenifer is always a joy to draw.

Petticoat Point in Prince Edward County

Today we trekked down a one lane dirt road in Prince Edward County and ended up at Lake Ontario. A very blustery brisk wind was blowing the waves into a frenzy. What caught our eye was an interesting geological feature of the shoreline which I then photographed.

We talked to a neighbour lady who lives near by who told us the flat concrete like rock formations criss crossed with wide “X” lines extends far into the lake and in the summer one can be walk out quite far out. It drops off level by level and eventually gets over your head. She advised us that many a ship has floundered due to this rock feature. It is so perfectly level it almost looks man made.

Mother Earth certainly is full of surprises.
